BIOGRAPHY |
Edward Brodhead Green was a Buffalo architect who
designed several houses in the City of Erie. He
was born in Utica NY on 5/10/1855. In 1884, he and
William S. Wicks (1854-1917) formed a partnership
named Green & Wicks. The firm designed many
important buildings in Buffalo and surrounding
cities. One of the firm's most renowned buildings
is the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo. After
Wicks's death, Green's son entered into the
partnership. Green died on 2/11/1950. |
