HISTORY |
THe Eureka Tempered Copper Co. was organized in 1888 with local prominent
business men, including Alfred Short in Charge. When the Short family
suffered a financial set back, the business was closed. The industry was
purchased by more of North East's local business men and reorganized in
1896. Their specialty product was copper hardened by a special process
for electrical products. |
